January often brings illness and this one was no exception. Spending time in an RV is an exercise in limited space. Because you have such a great front yard, this is usually relieved by simply leaving the RV and hanging out in the campground, at the club house or around town. Even the front porch under the awning can make things feel roomier.
So being sick is a real drag. You spend hours in the tin can, not quite miserable enough to not care. It is boring. It is lonely. It is, well, yukky.
The good news is that as the month ended, so has most of our cold symptoms. One good thing about being sick is that you get to rest a bit. So February is already a month of higher energy.
We are looking forward to the second year of The Ample Traveler©. It was one year ago this month that the concept of The Ample Traveler© was born.
